Sirte airport is captured again, and Libya’s Baghdad Bob dresses like a woman

According to this BBC report, the NTC units that have been fighting to capture Sirte, have captured Moussa Ibrahim, the Gadhafi mouthpiece at the Rixos Hotel. Moussa Ibrahim is a relation of Moammer Gadhafi, and he was the front man at the Rixos Hotel because of his excellent command of English. Moussa Ibrahim was working hard to take the crown from Baghdad Bob, and perhaps it should be noted that the worst of his propaganda were the lies that he told about Eman al-Obeidi, the woman who was raped by 15 of Daffy’s men (including some that were Gadhafi relatives) at a checkpoint leading into Tripoli.

What caught my eye in the BBC report is that it has been rumoured that Moussa Ibrahim was trying to escape by dressing in the clothing of a woman. This of course is a good reason as to why the burqa should be banned. What I am thinking here that Moussa Ibrahim has been all bravado until now, and his hiding in Sirte is probably evidence that other members of the Gadhafi family have been hiding in the same location. I think it is Mutassim Gadhafi who has been in Saif has been hiding out in Bani Walid.

Since his escape from Tripoli (and he left in a mighty hurry) Moussa Ibrahim has continued with the propaganda. He has given a regular diatribe, most of which has been exaggerated and totally lacking in reality. The situation in Sirte and Bani Walid remains grave, and there are citizens within those towns who are being held hostage as human shields for the Daffy Duck loyalists. Even if you resent these people because they are Muslim, one should pray for their well-being during this time.

There is still no real sign of where Daffy Duck might be hiding but one possibility is that he is in a border town between Libya and Algeria, possibly Gadames (sp) where he will be hiding with the Tourareg, who have been his supporters, as well as mercenaries from Niger and Chad, and possibly some mercenaries from Algiers.

UPDATE: As usual, it seems that someone has jumped the gun with regard to Moussa Ibrahim. Whilst the BBC reported that Libya’s Baghdad Bob was caught just outside of Sirte, and dressed as a woman, complete with veil, the people in Misrata have stated that they have not been able to confirm this information.

another potential jihadi caught with his pants down

My Petjawa has a very comprehensive post on the arrest in Boston of a US citizen (Palestinian) on charges of wanting to wage jihad. Rusty and his band of merry little jawa hunters have the most comprehensive report on this subject.

The man who has been arrested has a degree in physics from Northern University. His specialty was to manufacture IEDs which he had hoped would end up in the hands of Al Qaeda.

What is extremely interesting about this particular report is that it has a lot of information regarding the man, and it ties him in very neatly to the left wing politics of Noam Chomsky and his ilk.

The man it seems hated the USA to the point that at Ashland High School he would turn his back during the pledge of allegiance (He should have been expelled just over that action) and he might have been the person who had climbed on the roof at Ashland High School and burnt the American flag. No one had ever been charged over that little episode.

This is a developing story, since the man wanted to wage jihad on Americans and he actually wanted to use drones to blow up the Pentagon. I will leave this as a sticky for a few days so that any new information can be added to this post.

Al Qaeda feels jilted

Ok so the headline is over the top, but you have to admit that statements made by Ahmanutjob were more over the top :).  This story is from the BBC News, and basically it is stating that Al Qaeda have slapped Ahmanutjob on the wrist for spreading conspiracy theories regarding the incident on 11/9/2001.

Rational people who saw what took place know that the planes crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Centre and that the fire from the crash etc brought the towers down. However, there are a number of irrational people, including the left wing Michael Moore, and the yukky RP, who insist upon creating conspiracy theories about what took place. Some of these nut jobs actually believe that explosives were used and that this was a Bush plot. It is just too bad that some of the things that they rely upon go back to the 1960s when the Democrats were in the White House!!

Al Qaeda have always claimed responsibility for what took place. The men who participated were Al Qaeda operatives, plus Anwar Al-Awlaki the fugutive American citizen now living in Yemen, and the person also responsible for encouraging the man who did the Ft. Hood massacre, was an imam in the Virginia mosque where some of these men went to “worship”, rather listen to his rhetoric.

Now, 10 years later Ahmanutjob turns up in New York and gives a speech where he makes conspiracy theory claims and Al Qaeda are NOT HAPPY.  Thus, they have spoken out in the Online magazine called “Inspire” against Ahmanutjob and his conspiracy theories:

Inspire, an al-Qaeda-linked online magazine, described Mr Ahmadinejad’s controversial speech to the United Nations last week as “ridiculous”.

The Iranian leader said he believed the World Trade Center towers could not have been brought down by aircraft.

The article said such a belief “stands in the face of all logic and evidence”.

When looking at the rhetoric that is coming from the leadership behind Inspire (most likely al-Awlaki is responsible) it is obvious that there is no love lost between Iran and Al Qaeda. They seem to be on a different side to each other. This, I suspect is due to Iran being dominated by Shia, and Al Qaeda being dominated by Sunni. It might also explain why Iraq continues to be torn apart because the Shia want control, but Al Qaeda has been interfering on behalf of the Sunni.

The truth about Pakistan begins to emerge

I found this report in the British press, and it is enough to make the hackles rise, especially when Pakistan is supposed to be fighting against the jihadis (which is of course one big fat lie).

This is the truth about an incident that happened in 2007 which led to the death of an American soldier. The incident happened on the Pakistan side of the Pakistan/Afghanistan border. It appears that the Pakistanis lured the Americans and the Afghans who were with them to the village, but rather than resolve a dispute over land, the intention was to kidnap the officials.

Major Bauguess was shot and killed as soon as he stepped outside of the schoolhouse where the meeting took place. The driver of the vehicle with the ranking officials drove past the waiting helicopter, and only stopped when one of the commanders put a gun to his head. From this you can deduce that the driver was charged with the role of driving off with the officials with the intent of taking them into captivity.

The story itself is further proof that the ISI in Pakistan have been out of control for a very long time, and that Pakistan has been playing a double game for several years. It shows that Pakistan is not to be trusted, and quite frankly Pakistan should not be getting any military aid, neither should Pakistanis be allowed to freely migrate.

Explosive: Operation Gunwalker evidence

It looks to me like Operation Gunwalker is about to become the Watergate of this current Administration. This particular scandal has been brewing for some time, and the LSM has been largely ignoring what has been revealed. However, there are some new explosive revelations that goes to the heart of the whole scandal, especially when it means the ATF were paying for guns to end up in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels.

According to Vanderboegh:

The existence of this letter provided to these reporters by a previously reliable source familiar with the Fast and Furious investigation, coupled with interviews of other sources across the country which put it into context, provides startling proof that the Federal government did not merely “lose track” of weapons purchased by “straw buyers” under surveillance by the ATF and destined for the Mexican drug cartels. In an undercover operation ordered by Fast and Furious supervisor David Voth, the U.S. government purchased firearms with taxpayer money from licensed firearms dealers, instructed them to conduct the sales “off the books,” and used an ATF agent, John Dodson, to deliver them directly to people that Dodson believed were conducting them across the border.

According one source close to the Issa committee and knowledgeable of its workings, this revelation “puts a stake in the heart of the ‘botched sting operation’ lie.” He continued, “There never was any ‘sting,’ there was only a deliberate effort to provide weapons to the DTO’s (Drug Trafficking Organizations).” He added, “this was one hundred percent us — our money, our guy, our (gun)walking.”

This is curious

I just saw this report on the assassination of the former Afghanistan Rabbanni, who was Karazai’s main peace negotiator. The attacker had the bomb strapped underneath his turban.

The reason that I find the report curious is that the Taliban do not seem to be behind the attack, and they are not wanting to talk about it. This is curious because of the fact that when the Taliban go on the attack they announce it during the actual attack.

What is more, the report mentions that it could be the work of a group linked to Pakistan’s ISI. This leads me back to questions about the hiding of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan, and specifically his compound being so close to the military academy at Abbottabad. At the same time it might explain why the Pakistanis were chucking a bag because the US Navy Seals went in and killed OBL right under their noses. If the ISI did not know that OBL was in Pakistan why did they chuck such a bag over OBL being taken out? Well, I think that they did know about his presence and that they were protecting him.

It seems to me that there are rogue elements in the ISI, just like there are rogue elements in MI6 and the CIA and that they have other motivations. The Pakistan ISI are not friends to the rest of the world. It seems to me that the Islamists have an enormous presence in the Pakistan ISI. This might explain why there have been so many attacks on military establishments, and upon the police in Pakistan. It might help to explain how the Sri Lankan cricket team came under attack in Pakistan (fortunately no team members were killed in that attack).

Either way, it is food for thought, because it would seem that Mullah Omar has been true to his word in wanting to negotiate a peace settlement, and that this assassination has set back those attempts.

Pulitzer author writes book that does not praise Duh Won

It is interesting to note that a Pulitzer Prize author, whose books did not help the credibility of the Bush White House, has written a book that does not follow the Leftist plan of helping Duh Won to retain the White House. It is interesting to note that the author has quoted a number of individuals who are well-known economists and all of them are critical of Duh Won. Therefore it is no wonder that Christine Romer, for example could not wait to get away from the White House and resume her role in academia.

Yet, it is not just Christine Romer, but also Larry Summers, and to a lesser extent Peter Orzsag who are critical, and perhaps have let down their guard when it comes to how they view the incompetence of the nincompoop who now occupies the White House.

If George Bush made mistakes (and yes he made plenty of them), then these mistakes look like they are minimal in comparison to the dweeb that is supposed to be “cerebral” and a boy “genius”, even though we have seen no academic records to support the allegations that he is so bright. Just like the birth records there has been a massive cover-up, almost as if this particular occupier of the White House has a worse academic record than both George Bush and Rick Perry combined:

Overall, Suskind portrays Mr Obama as ineffectual and uncertain – not the image the White House wants to be projected at the start of his re-election campaign.

The White House is setting about an attempt at damage control, including getting Anita Dunn to backtrack on her comments. She, of course claims that those were not her words. How convenient.
