The Solyndra Scandal – White House subpoened

Amongst the continuing scandals that have been rocking the nations (which come from the White House incompetence), is the financial one involving the “green” odor sniffing company Solyndra.

The basics of the scandal are the following:

1. George Kaiser is a Dhimmicrat who bundled large sums of money for FKO during 2008.

2. Solyndra benefited from being given a loan of $535 million of “stimulus” money. (I may have some of the details wrong, but this is the barest description for the moment).

3. Solyndra blew that $535 million in one year, and has gone bankrupt.

4. Østupid was so impressed with the way that the money was wasted, that he gave Kaiser a further $469 million to shoot to the breeze.

This is a subject that needs to be researched. It smacks of cronyism and in particular it smacks of pay to play politics.

It is now being reported that the White House is being subpoened over this particular scandal.

  1. Yup, they were subpoenaed but *refused to comply!* Where there’s smoke…..

Looks like it’s time to start making some arrests; past time, rather.

Arrest the whole bloody bunch of them, fumigate the White House, and let’s get our country back!

BTW, rumors are circulating that the Vets will be STOPPED from conducting their rally in D.C. on Veteran’s Day. OK, so the OWS loons can squat without a permit, are given electricity for free, and gourmet meals are being prepared for them, at least in Boston….and the Vets will be stopped from rallying?

There is something wrong here; very wrong.

  2. SueK, Wow! I hadn’t heard about the rumors re. stopping the Vets from having their well-planned, enthusiastic rally in D.C. That would be a travesty and could be “the shot heard round the world.”

Doesn’t it really incense you to think of those OWS being served all sorts of organic, gourmet meals? I read recently that there is a bank account of $500,000, and that some radical tax exempt organization is trying to make a deal to collect funds for OWS for a fee, so that the donors can get a tax deduction. IRS ought to look into that scheme, but they won’t.

  3. Hi, SueK – have not heard from you in quite some time. How’s the rabbits and GPs?

  4. Wonder if MSM can ignore even THIS!?

Report: Sarkozy calls Netanyahu ‘liar’ YNET news

Microphones accidently left on after G20 meeting pick up private conversation between US, French presidents. Sarkozy admits he ‘can’t stand’ Israeli premier. Obama: You’re fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day!

French President Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly told US President Barack Obama that he could not “stand” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and that he thinks the Israeli premier “is a liar.” According to a Monday report in the French website “Arret sur Images,” after facing reporters for a G20 press conference on Thursday, the two presidents retired to a private room, to further discuss the matters of the day.

The conversation apparently began with President Obama criticizing Sarkozy for not having warned him that France would be voting in favor of the Palestinian membership bid in UNESCO despite Washington’s strong objection to the move.

The conversation then drifted to Netanyahu, at which time Sarkozy declared: “I cannot stand him. He is a liar.” According to the report, Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!”

The remark was naturally meant to be said in confidence, but the two leaders’ microphones were accidently left on, making the would-be private comment embarrassingly public.

  5. Hi Cabby and Carlyle,

Life gets in the way, sometimes! Schedules are crazy and the days long; I usually pop up somewhere eventually :).

Cabby, I got that ‘rumor’ from a Vet who won’t be in D.C., but knows others who will. Odd how Barky will *again* be conveniently away for yet another protest, isn’t it? He really doesn’t wanna futz with the Vets now, does he?

Regarding OWS, I think we all know who’s behind that, don’t we? ‘Occupied’ cities on the brink of riots, the ‘administration’ taking over all the airwaves on Wednesday afternoon…we know where this is heading. It’s past time to sweep out all this garbage.

Thanks for asking about the critters, Carlyle; I lost my precious two year old guinea pig, Pepper, at the end of October; osteosarcoma in her left jaw. Three very talented Vets and a premier Boston hospital could do nothing so I had to let her go. Toby bunny is ’tilted’ to his right and we don’t know what’s causing that; could be a variety of thing, so he’s testing. So, two out of the three remaining are OK. I’ll be heading to Vermont on Friday to adopt another piggie as Lucy is looking for Pepper, but not finding her; another unwanted will join my brood. Hope all will be stable again very soon!

Other than the mess American is in, I hope you’re doing well! I’ll try to check in here more often; Aussie puts up some great articles :).

  6. Good link above, Aussie.

Don’t know if you’ve been following Ulsterman and his interviews with the White House Insider but if you have, WHI commented in a recent interview that the race card would be played to the max in the 2012 elections, so I agree with the Human Events piece that if Cain were the nominee, the Obama administration’s race card goes right out the window.

It makes sense that they want Cain out and want him out *now!*

  7. Ann Coulter wrote a really great piece on the subject. It was very provocative.

Yes, if Cain is chosen as either P or VP then the race card is out of the window.

Thinking about what has come out about those women, and the mere fact that there are no claims relating to other periods of employment, plus the complaints had been very non-specific (leaving out Sharon Bialek the serial litigationist), it seems that only in Washington that Cain was allegedly interested in white blonde women. These women are ugly.

My intuitive response to Sharon Bialek was simply: “why would Cain want to touch that!!” Then the other woman came forward. She has never given any specifics. It is inneundo, but she claimed that it was something like the Bialek experience… uh ha… loss of credibility right there. However, it turns out that she is also a serial litigationist when it comes to s h complaints.

I have experienced work place harassment. It is unpleasant, and I ended up in tears. The majority of the times that I was harassed, the perpetrator was a woman.

There is one particular occasion where I had a confrontation with a woman and she then took to following me around. She spooked me out, and I complained to HR about what happened. I am giving the short version of the events that took place. Anyway, my father was dying as this was taking place. She was made redundant when I was away attending my father’s funeral. After that, none of the people in my section would talk to me. A very nasty business… but my complaint was not the reason that she was made redundant… it just helped!! The reason that she freaked me out was in fact due to experiences that happened when I was a teenager – and yes it really did happen that someone tried to get me into his car, he followed me. I ran and fortunately was close to a friend’s house…..

  8. Hi Aussie,

Not sure if I understand the term ‘she was made redundant.’ What does that mean? Fired?

Different places on the planet use different terms; I don’t think I’ve ever heard that one.

  9. Sue,
being fired is not usually being made redundant although it has the same result.

When a person is made redundant it usually means that the position itself has been abolished, and the person is no longer requred.
