Aussie on a mission

Once again I point out that Australians do not as a rule own or possess guns. This does not mean that we have no gun violence. To the contrary, Sydney and Melbourne continue to compete to see which city has the most gun related crime. The problem is, in almost every case the guns are illegal.

Within the last few days a case was brought to my attention. This time the victim is a white man. In fact he is an Australian man who was shot in the back by some teenage boys in Duncan, Oklahoma. The boys were polar bear hunting. Need I say more about their “ethnic identity”?

Since the death of Trayvon Martin, and in fact since the Sandy Hook murders, the Australian media has joined in the braying about American gun laws. Sheesh, our media should mind their own flaming business!! You can probably guess why I feel frustrated. It is because the Australian media are following the Leftist playbook. They are pontificating about those gun rights.

When I first heard about the news concerning Chris Lane, I was assaulted by a radio personality making pontifications about American gun rights. She simply does not have a clue about the real situation. (Reminds me about what is happening in Egypt and what is being hidden by the media).

Australia does not have a right to bear arms. This is probably because we have not been through a Revolution that brought about the end of British rule. Oh we had rebellions, such as the Rum Rebellion – the Rum Corps rebelled against none other than Governor Bligh, yes that same Captain Bligh from Mutiny on the Bounty. He was obviously quite a dickhead to get the army upset with him. However that is about the extent of rebellion in Australia!!

As such Australian media do not have the right to pontificate about something that they simply do not understand – that is the right to bear arms.

Carrying a gun would not have helped Chris Lane because he was shot in the back and did not even know that he was being stalked by the polar bear hunters. Yet in George Zimmerman’s case, a gun saved his life.

Yes, i am on a mission to expose the lies of the anti-gun lobby.

    Again, trying to be provocative.

As far as I can tell, I am the only one Mario let’s post things that are somewhat negative of his blog and his diatribes against the ineducable OBOTS. Perhaps he views it as constructive criticism? Or maybe just comic relief?

His whole blog reminds me of a famous admonition: Never try to teach a pig to sing. It justs wastes your time, and annoys the pig.
